Three Divisions

General Music
Division
Track: This is the ideal track for beginners interested in playing as hobbyists. It is all about having fun in a relaxed, non-competitive environment. Teachers will help students gain focus and attention at the piano and cover all foundational concepts needed to read music and play well.
Curriculum: Method books such as Piano Adventures and Bastien books are most commonly used. Other sight-reading, theory, and artistry materials may be used to supplement the core curriculum.

Teachers: Teachers in this division have attained at least a Bachelor's degree and are experienced with children and adult students. They are proficient in most musical styles including pop, rock, jazz and classical.

Studio Music
Division
Track: Studio Division gains you access to more highly accredited teachers and is the ideal track for those interested in higher level learning in classical or Jazz. Teachers in this division tend to have higher expectations with greater emphasis on progress and the overall development of strong musical skills including sight reading, theory, technique and artistry.

Curriculum: Teachers will help students attain the knowledge, skills and techniques necessary for classical music or Jazz. Many teachers will offer ABRSM or RCM curriculum but this is always optional. Advanced method books and other supplemental materials are used to develop a proper foundation.

Teachers: Teachers have attained a minimum of a master's degree in music or similar performance accreditation and display a track record of student success.

Performance
Division
Track: Master your instrument with teachers in our Performance Division. This is the ideal track for players looking to reach new horizons. If your goal is to acquire the skills necessary to tackle major classical works from all four time periods- Baroque, Classical, Romantic and 20th century or progress to advanced Jazz, theory or improvisation, this is where you'll find a teacher for you. College audition and competition preparation available as well.
Curriculum: Students can expect a wide range of pieces hand selected by the teacher to fine-tune each facet of musicianship and help you achieve your fullest playing potential.

Teachers: Teachers have attained a minimum of a master's degree from prestigious conservatories, have 5 years minimum teaching experience and have a track record of bringing students to advanced levels of artistic, theory, sight reading and performance ability. Their students are regularly competition winners and are accepted into colleges for music.
